This month, we celebrated a monumental milestone for YourLuxury Africa — turning TWO years old, being South Africa’s biggest circulating monthly luxury lifestyle title, and achieving the incredible honour of winning a 2024 GAPP Award for Print Excellence. With four stunning Annual Edition covers, a bumper Dec/Jan issue, and an impressive 45 000 copies in circulation, we couldn’t be prouder of how far we’ve come!
In partnership with BMW, the night exuded pure sophistication. Guests arrived in style, greeted by the iconic display that set the tone for an unforgettable evening at Villa Arcadia in Johannesburg. Starting with champagne by Moët & Chandon, guests enjoyed Royal Flush Gin, Spier Wines, and specially crafted cocktails made with Honor Cognac.
The glamour didn’t stop there. Thanks to Bacher and Co, our guests indulged in divine fragrances from Acqua di Parma, while Pomellato adorned the venue with their exquisite jewels. Fabulous Chopard, Panerai, and IWC watches were on display, perfectly timed for festive season shopping indulgence.
Speaking of glamour, one of the night’s highlights was special guest Diana Kaumba, stylist and Zambian entrepreneur behind @thevintagepoint_, who flew in specially for the occasion. Her phenomenal grandmother, Margret Chola, was our August cover star — lovingly known as @legendary_glamma. At over 80 years young, she continues to inspire, with her Instagram followed by stars like Rihanna, Viola Davis, and Jennifer Hudson.
