Instead, four rotating discs display the time and calendar indications through apertures positioned around the dial’s edge. The horse’s action is depicted through relief engraving, micro-painting, and grand feu enamelling.

Jaeger-LeCoultre unveils three white gold Reverso Tribute Enamel timepieces, each reflecting the vitality and elegance of the steed through 80 hours of engraving. Each caseback features a hand-painted enamel miniature of a Xu Beihong masterpiece.
The tiny surface image showcases miniature enamel painting, grand feu enamelling, and guillochage.
Blancpain
Blancpain’s Villeret Calendrier Chinois Traditionnel, limited to 50 platinum pieces, introduces the maison’s first salmon-rose Grand Feu enamel dial, uniting the Chinese lunisolar calendar with moon phase indication and the Gregorian date.
Oris
The Year of the Horse Limited Edition by Oris is an 88-piece interpretation of its Artelier Calibre 113. Note the 10-day non-linear power reserve indicator: when the reserve is full, the indicator aligns with a galloping horse. Once it’s depleted, it lines up with a resting horse.
Longines
Longines’ Master Collection brings Peon Xu’s Galloping Horse to life in a limited run of only 2 026 pieces. The iconic motif from the celebrated painting is engraved onto the gilt rotor of the calibre.
