The concept behind Louis Vuitton’s latest High Jewellery collection, Awakened Hands, Awakened Minds Part II, depicts the ingenuity of 19th-century France. With 50 extraordinary pieces across seven themes, Louis Vuitton’s artistic director, Francesca Amfitheatrof’s designs are a testament to the spirit of innovation that reshaped craftsmanship and mobility, inspiring awe and admiration.

Among the highlights is a newly introduced men’s capsule featuring a refined compass, a pocket watch, and brooches. The collection also pays tribute to strong, independent women through pieces like the LV Star cut Élégance Diamond headband and the French appreciation for beauty with exceptional yellow diamonds and vibrant gemstones.

The Splendeur thematic draws inspiration from France’s imperial palaces, reimagining royal floral motifs in intricate openwork gold and diamond settings. Mozambican rubies anchor the pendant. Phénoménal channels the artistry of porcelain through a rope motif necklace, culminating in a stunning 7.44-carat Colombian emerald framed by LV’s signature diamond iconography.

Gravité takes on the spirit of discovery. Inspired by Foucault’s Pendulum, a white gold and diamond necklace requiring 2 058 hours of work suspends a detachable 6.48-carat Kashmir sapphire, embodying movement and precision. Meanwhile, Dynamisme translates the era’s mechanical ingenuity into a structural chevron necklace of platinum and yellow gold highlighting interlocking diamonds that evoke the motion of early engines.

Vision embodies the grandeur of railway innovation, its multi-stranded necklace mirroring the expanse of industrial progress. A rare 50.01-carat octagonal step-cut yellow sapphire from Sri Lanka shines against a lattice of diamond baguettes, symbolising the golden age of discovery. Each meticulously crafted piece echoes Louis Vuitton’s enduring legacy of elegance and boundary-pushing craftsmanship.

Victoire is Louis Vuitton’s tribute to the Eiffel Tower, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship and technical mastery through over 3 923 hours of work. At its heart is a striking high-collared necklace, intricately designed to reflect the Maison’s visionary ethos, featuring a 10.43-carat and a 3.08-carat LV Monogram Star cut Diamond of unprecedented brilliance. Complemented by 33 Yellow Diamonds, matching pendant earrings, a bracelet, and a ring, Victoire’s bold geometric construction and fluid mobility embody the spirit of modernity and innovation, echoing the tower’s architectural marvel.

With this remarkable collection, Louis Vuitton honours the past while propelling high jewellery into the future, proving once again that luxury is not just about beauty – it’s about innovation, artistry, and the timeless pursuit of excellence.
