Culet & Song IV, the emerging, independently–owned designer brand, has launched a new collection – Performa Series79 – its most architecturally inspired line. Handcrafted in luxurious 18k gold, this collection pays homage to Antoni Gaudí’s Neo–Gothic and Art Nouveau design styles and features fluid, undulating forms and intricate perforations.
Two years in the making, this sculptural series involved five handcrafted prototypes and over 190 hours of precision work. Culet & Song IV was established by three siblings with a family history of designing and manufacturing fine gold and diamond jewellery in South Africa.
As the first direct–to– consumer brand in four generations, the company is proudly female–led and committed to environmental sustainability. The brand has implemented a zero–plastic policy and collaborates with female–owned businesses to produce handmade, reusable packaging in South Africa.
Culet & Song IV ensures that all materials come from reputable refineries. They focus on sourcing superior–grade precious metals and International Gemological Institute–certified gemstones. The brand name is inspired by “culet,” the small point where a diamond’s facets meet, and “Song,” derived from the family name, signifying the enduring legacy of fine jewellery passed down through generations.
