FerriFirenze shines at Middle East Watch & Jewellery of the Year 2024

The luxury jewellery house celebrates winning the Best Fashionable Jewellery Award and sets its sights on global expos like Vicenzaoro and Haute Jewels Geneva.

FerriFirenze’s “Made in Italy” heritage and craftsmanship took centre stage in the Best Fashionable Jewellery Award competition at the 20th edition of the Middle East Watch & Jewellery of the Year 2024. Innovative design and exceptional handwork made its Artificio necklace stand out against entries from international brands such as Chopard, Busatti, Fabergé, and Achilles.

Inspired by the fireworks that light up Italian summer skies and designed to evoke the magic of their fleeting brilliance, the necklace is crafted in 18k gold and adorned with diamonds.

“Set in gleaming gold, these pieces evoke the brilliance and joy of Italy’s beloved traditions, making them perfect for special occasions or adding a touch of elegance to everyday moments. The Artificio Collection is a celebration of light, life, and being present for life’s most beautiful moments,”

says FerriFirenze owner Giulia Callegari.

The brand’s creations are brought to life in a 16th-century Tuscan villa, with every aspect realised in-house by extraordinary Italian jewellery design talent. The Florentine atelier is surrounded by extensive gardens, sculptures, and mosaics, an endless source of inspiration to the artisans who produce luxury jewellery that has eternal appeal across generations and cultures.

Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) Executive Chairman and CEO, and Chair of the Kimberley Process Ahmed Bin Sulayem congratulated the team on X: “Congratulations to FerriFirenze on winning the prestigious Best Fashionable Jewellery Middle East 2024 award at the 20th Middle East Watch & Jewellery of the Year Awards. DMCC is committed to supporting members through its dedicated ecosystem and contributing to the growth of the jewellery industry in Dubai. We wish Giulia Callegari and Giovanni Alessi Anghini continued growth and success.”

The DMCC is the leading international business district that drives the flow of global trade through Dubai. It hosted Dubai Diamond Week with its flagship Dubai Diamond Conference (DDC) late last year. Dubai is the world’s largest diamond trade hub, with almost 120 million carats of rough and polished stones traded through the city in the first half of 2024. Al Cook, CEO, De Beers Group: “Dubai has propelled itself forward and become the marketplace for the world. A position that, in the diamond industry, makes it a bridge between Africa and the world.”

Meanwhile, “Made in Italy” fans can look forward to seeing FerriFirenze’s latest collections celebrating beauty, craftsmanship, and the essence of Italian elegance at top international expos. Upcoming dates to diarise include Vicenzaoro, the jewellery boutique show to be held at the Vicenza Expo Centre, Via dell’Oreficeria 16 – 36100 Vicenza, Italy from 17-21 January. Under the theme “Crafting the Future”, the Italian Exhibition Group event aims to redefine the future of jewellery by highlighting new generations and promoting intergenerational dialogue that blends tradition with innovation.
