Earlier this year, Hublot unveiled a new Coal Blue colour within its Big Bang and Spirit of Big Bang families. Developed for four new references, this shade, which the brand associates with “mysterious and subtle minerality”, is an unexpected addition to the range.
It’s a blend of grey, black, and blue, difficult to capture and special in its ability to reveal natural reflections at certain angles in the light. “The introduction of the Coal Blue colour to the Big Bang Original and Spirit of Big Bang collections adds a striking new dimension to two of Hublot’s most iconic models. Combining bold aesthetics with exceptional craftsmanship, these timepieces make a compelling addition to any collector’s watch portfolio,” says Ted Hellstrom, Merchandise Executive for Tanur Collection.
The dials of the 43mm Big Bang Original Unico and the 42mm Spirit of Big Bang are inspired by carbon fibre patterns, alternating satin and polished squares with a reworked 3D effect that adds depth and new geometry.
The Big Bang Original Unico is powered by the Manufacture Unico flyback chronograph calibre, with a three-day power reserve, while the Spirit of Big Bang is driven by the high-frequency HUB4700 movement, beating at 5 Hz (36 000 vph).
Both pieces are presented in titanium cases , with a rubber strap, a One-Click interchangeability system, and a titanium deployant buckle. Notice the typical bezel with its six “H” screws, intentionally misaligned because they are functional.

Meanwhile, in June 2026, Hublot introduced two Big Bang Summer models inspired by the colours of the Mediterranean. Limited to 200 pieces, the 42mm Big Bang Unico Flyback Chronograph combines microblasted and polished pink and mint-green ceramic with a sky-blue ceramic bezel and matching case back. The dial extends the playful palette with a blend of matte pink and mint tones.
The more exclusive 44mm Manufacture Automatic Tourbillon, limited to just 10 pieces, takes a more architectural approach. A transparent pink sapphire crystal dial reveals the movement beneath, allowing the mechanics to become part of the design itself.
Both watches are supplied with interchangeable sky-blue, mint-green, and pink rubber straps lined in white. Each is fitted with a titanium deployant buckle and Hublot’s One-Click system, allowing wearers to switch between colours to suit the mood, destination, or season.
