The Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant team has had a good run so far in the 2023 FIA Formula One World Championship season. With podium finishes by Fernando Alonso in Bahrain, Australia, and Miami, as well as Lance Stroll’s strong performances, the team is currently sitting in second place in the Constructor Standings.
To celebrate this success, Aston Martin has released an exclusive AMR23 Edition for their DBX707 ultra-luxury SUV. Named after their Formula 1 racer, the special edition incorporates racing elements from both the F1 car and the Official Medical Car of Formula 1.
Created by the brand’s bespoke service, Q by Aston Martin, the edition gets bespoke Podium Green paint, a unique fender badge, Aston Martin Racing Green brake callipers, and lime accents on the carbon body kit to highlight the F1 connection.
The AMR23 Edition’s cabin also gets lime contrast stitching on the Inspire Sport Duotone Onyx Black/Eifel Green combination upholstery, carbon fibre veneers, and the AMR23 logo on the door sills further emphasising the brand’s racing pedigree.
The AMR23 Edition reinforces the DBX707’s driver-focused credentials, impressive performance, exceptional dynamics, unmistakable style, and uncompromising luxury. While the standard DBX puts out 542 horsepower from its AMG-derived twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8, the DBX 707 churns out 697 horsepower and 900Nm of torque.
Despite its SUV profile and heft, the DBX707 does 0-100 kph in just 3.3 seconds, goes from 80-120 kph in 1.9 seconds and hits a top speed of 310 kph.
Alex Long, Aston Martin’s Head of Product and Market Strategy, expressed delight in offering the AMR23 Edition to celebrate the recent successes of their Formula 1 team. He emphasised the importance of competing in top-level motorsport as a pillar of Aston Martin’s brand and product strategy. The DBX707 AMR23 Edition is now available for customer orders.
