The 2026 edition welcomes 11 new exhibiting brands and an expanded In The City programme. Open to both professionals and the public, Watches and Wonders Geneva  continues to blur the line between industry showcase and cultural event.

This April, more than 6 000 retailers, 1 600 international journalists, and approximately 15 000 guests are expected. The figures build on last year’s attendance, which saw nearly 55 000 visitors from 125 nationalities pass through the event.

The City Programme

For the first time, the city centre will pulse to a new soundtrack through a collaboration with the Montreux Jazz Festival. A dedicated venue on Quai Général-Guisan will host evening performances inspired by the Montreux Jazz Club concept, pairing live concerts, DJ sets, and close artist interaction in an intimate setting. Open daily from 5pm to 11pm, the space welcomes the public upon registration and introduces a fresh cultural layer to the watchmaking week.

Elsewhere, the Watchmaking Village will be located at the Pont de la Machine. Designed as an accessible gateway into the profession, it will host introductory workshops, career pathways, and guided city tours coordinated with the Swiss watch industry. Throughout the week, exhibiting brands will also present special events at their Geneva boutiques.

A lakeside musical performance will headline the traditional Thursday night, while Geneva’s iconic Flower Clock in the Jardin Anglais will be reimagined in Watches and Wonders colours — a playful reminder that the city itself becomes part of the spectacle.

Inside the Salon

Inside the Salon, The LAB enters a new chapter with a redesigned focus on innovation, sustainability, and social impact. Around 15 start-ups, selected from 60 applications, will present forward-looking projects shaping the future of watchmaking.

The partnership with ECAL continues for a third year, with students from its luxury and craftsmanship design programme unveiling immersive installations that reinterpret how we experience time. Visitors will also encounter Wake Up!, an exhibition tracing the history of the alarm clock through more than 50 objects from the Musée d’Art et d’Histoire de Genève, exploring humanity’s long relationship with awakening and timekeeping.
