This latest release elevates the StarWalker line’s celestial narrative with a new material innovation: a softly glowing dome on the cap top, charged with luminescent particles that echo the dancing greens and silvers of the aurora. Gleaming beneath a transparent vault, the radiance feels almost otherworldly — more dream than design.

It’s no coincidence that Montblanc chose the Northern Lights as its muse. Indigenous stories once told of ancestors dancing in the heavens, while explorer Samuel Hearne likened their icy sparkle to diamonds scattered across the snow. That same sense of awe runs through this collection — visible in the wave-like guilloché engravings and rich green tones that suggest fluid movement and shimmering air.

The StarWalker PolarGreen range is available in three editions, each offering its own interpretation of the aurora. The Precious Resin Edition features matte dark green precious resin engraved with a wave motif and paired with platinum-coated fittings. The Doué Edition combines a dark green resin barrel with a contrasting polished, platinum-coated metal cap. Most strikingly, the Metal Edition layers translucent dark green lacquer over an engraved guilloché pattern, creating reflections that shift like light across a frozen lake.
