For the eighth year in a row, the largest city in the Western Cape got the nod for its combination of attractions, which include 1. 6km of alluring coastline and the assuring presence of Table Mountain – one of the New 7 Wonders of the World. Cape Town has emerged as a cosmopolitan coastal city with a variety of experiences to offer while the wider Cape region, with its winelands and charming coastal communities, is as spectacular a tourism magnet as the city.

Our cover features the Iron Man Villa which is located in the affluent neighbourhood of Clifton on Nettleton Ridge, one of the most exclusive residential areas in the world. The Villa, designed by Peerutin Karol, takes its cues from mid-century modern architecture and gets is moniker from its resemblance to Tony Stark’s Malibu mansion as featured in the Marvel Iron Man movies.
