Delaire Graff Estate has once again proven its excellence, taking top honours at the 2025 Investec Trophy Wine Show. Their Banghoek Chardonnay 2023 claimed three prestigious awards: Best White Wine Overall, Best Chardonnay, and the Vinolok Trophy for Best Premium Wine. This victory marks the second consecutive year their Chardonnay has been crowned Best White Wine—a rare achievement in the competition’s history.
“To be recognised two years in a row by such esteemed local and international judges is incredibly rewarding,” says Morné Vrey, Delaire Graff’s Winemaker.
The accolades didn’t stop there. Six of the estate’s wines also earned outstanding scores from The Wine Advocate, a globally revered authority in fine wine critique.
“Each vintage challenges us to reinterpret the land anew,” Vrey reflects. “By embracing vintage variation, we craft wines with deeper honesty and individuality.”
With this latest triumph, Delaire Graff cements its place among South Africa’s most celebrated wine producers.
