THE 76-foot MIRAGE, a purpose-built day-sail catamaran is one of the largest, privately-owned and most luxurious catamarans in South Africa’s waters and blends both style and substance. Crafted in Cape Town, the catamaran is the epitome of barefoot luxury whilst its impressive nautical engineering easily withstands the unpredictable weather conditions of the Cape.
The extraordinary double deck design offers space for up to 130 passengers via the vast saloon area on the bridge deck as well as the expansive fly bridge on the upper deck. It is also fitted with plenty of comfortable seating on both decks, a vast trampoline area for sunny days at sea, awnings for shade, three elegantly finished restrooms and the full gamut of safety features.
For charters of three hours and more, MIRAGE’s deck crew add an extra injection of summer fun by unpacking the toys; a giant water slide, floating pool and SUP boards.
In terms of culinary offerings, the MIRAGE is ideal for creating gala gourmet occasions whilst at sea thanks to its fully equipped commercial-grade galley as well as the two large stainless steel outdoor grills on the aft deck. There are two fully stocked on-board bars, one on each deck. MIRAGE’s skilled crew and hospitality ambassadors are on hand to arrange a seamless experience – from concept to delivery. From live music events to elegant cocktail parties and DJ-hosted dance parties, there’ll be no end to the summertime fun on MIRAGE this season.
