Founded in 1929 in Vicenza, FOPE has built its reputation on a combination of Italian craftsmanship and technical ingenuity. Today, the brand’s identity is closely tied to its patented Flex’it system, a remarkable innovation that allows fine gold jewellery to stretch and adapt to the wearer. Hidden within the gold mesh are microscopic 18kt gold springs, enabling pieces to move naturally with the body.
This approach has reshaped the experience of wearing gold jewellery. Bracelets, rings, and necklaces slip on without clasps and adapt comfortably to daily movement. The result is jewellery designed not only for formal occasions, but for everyday wear — elegant, yet effortless.
For FOPE, flexibility is both a technical achievement and a design philosophy. Its jewellery is intentionally versatile, transcending distinctions of gender or age. Pieces can be worn alone for understated refinement, or layered across different meshes and gold tones – yellow, white, and rose — to create a more personal expression of style. Uninfluenced by seasonal trends, the brand focuses on timeless design with contemporary ease.
The concept underpins FOPE’s 2026 campaign, The Golden Now, which celebrates moments of presence and quiet enjoyment. Drawing inspiration from the house’s most recognisable meshes, the Eka Collection and the Novecento Collection, the imagery captures jewellery as part of everyday life: subtle, tactile, and deeply connected to the wearer.
The Eka Collection occupies a special place in FOPE’s story. Named after the Sanskrit word for “one”, it was the first line to introduce Flex’it technology. Its distinctive mesh, formed from interlocking rectangular gold elements known as chicco, is available in four thicknesses and balances geometric structure with fluid movement. The design is as delicate as it is boldly sculptural, while maintaining the supple comfort that defines the brand.
Recent interpretations, expressed through Coded Couture, unveiled at Vicenzaoro in January 2026, take this further. In Eka Impero, the iconic chicco element becomes decorative, enhanced with diamonds that add subtle sparkle. Eka Maori introduces a striking cuff-style bracelet, while a new ruthenium finish gives the Must Have bracelet a darker, contemporary edge. Meanwhile, two-tone Flex’it necklaces combine white and yellow or rose gold, as well as yellow and rose gold, offering a fresh take on one of FOPE’s most recognisable signatures.
Produced entirely at the company’s Vicenza facility, every FOPE piece reflects the continuity between heritage craftsmanship and modern engineering, a dynamic that continues to shape the future of Made in Italy fine jewellery.
