The ultimate luxury for many of us is travel. After all, who would say no to the luxe offerings on page 42 of this edition (they have all been added to my bucket list), ticking off a lifelong dream such as gorilla trekking (page 52) or getting away from it all to inhale a vastness that can only be found off the beaten track (page 48)?
I lean more towards the latter as I get older – is it an age thing that quieter, more meaningful travel overtakes the need for bright lights and city nights?
Our cover personality, Thebe Ikalafeng, takes travel a whole inspiring step further. He had a dream, set a goal and then achieved it.
