Delaire Graff Estate Triumphs at Global Awards for Best Accommodation in South Africa

The awards celebrate the world’s most innovative vineyard experiences, with Delaire Graff representing the Cape Winelands among 644 entries this year.

Delaire Graff Lodges & Spa won the Best Accommodation award in South Africa in 2025 at the regional and global awards held in Verona, Italy.

“We are incredibly proud of our team for their pursuit of perfection in every facet of Delaire Graff Estate’s hospitality experience, in our vineyards and in our cellar,” said CEO Jacolien de Villiers.

“Awards such as this globally highlight the quality of South African hospitality and wine production. We are honoured to play a leading role in the creation of world-class wine tourism experiences here in Africa,” she added.

The Great Wine Capitals Global Network is an alliance of the world’s twelve internationally renowned wine regions. The Network founded the Best of Wine Tourism awards to seek out the world’s most innovative and exceptional vineyard hospitality experiences which serve as an industry benchmark for excellence.

The regional awards for 2025, now in their 26th year, were announced on 16 October 2024 and the global awards were further announced at Gallerie Mercatali in Verona, Italy. This year’s competition attracted an impressive 644 entries. Representing South Africa’s Cape Winelands and receiving the award on behalf of the Delaire Graff Estate was Mayor Dr Elna von Schlicht.
