Spas are in high demand, and with beauty of this calibre, everyone wants their Zen moment to be on a luxe wine estate with a spectacular landscape.
Hustling for appointments doesn’t a calm being make, and so a day-spa-only offering means no fighting with hotel guests for that sacred spot. Plus, the advantage of medical aesthetics under the care of a doctor offers discreet injectables as well as more advanced aesthetics. In fact, Terre Paisible is the only medical spa in the country offering the Emerald Laser.
The tech behind this full-body treatment is light energy, able to target and shrink stubborn fat cells and even cellulite. With zero pain (and I can attest to that), the laser simply skims the skin with a beam of light, all the while making tiny pores within the fat cell. These then leave the body via your lymphatic system. One session isn’t going to produce the goods, and I was recommended up to eight to get my love handles svelte.
Performed in their VVIP treatment room (designed for two with its own heated pool and en suite bathroom), the therapy was private in a serene space. It mirrored the rest of the spa; airy, light and contemporary design in muted marble, white and soft grey. Nothing to distract from the enormity and glory of Mother Nature’s ample outdoors. In short, peace for all your senses.
