Natural beauty and environmentally conscious design on display at Trenery’s new concept store

By Your Luxury

Whether you’re updating your seasonal wardrobe or browsing for gifts, the shopping experience at the Trenery store is a sensory delight. Embodying timeless simplicity and sophistication the brand offers premium apparel and accessories for men and women. Trenery has been in South Africa since 2009 as part of the Woolworths Country Road Group (CRG), and announced a global rebrand in August 2023. The store at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town, showcases the new vision and refreshed look.

The newly revamped store boasts the rebrand, blending natural beauty and environmentally conscious design. Store elements are responsibly sourced and include a range of locally crafted art and furniture. Shoppers can look forward to a warm and inviting space featuring clay-rendered walls, soft lighting, and bronze fixtures. The ambiance is further elevated by commissioned works from local artists including, among others, Jan Ernst and MŪVEK Studio.

CRG Country Manager, Kay Raidoo, says they’re excited for customers to experience the new space . “This is a significant and exciting step for Trenery as we introduce our refreshed brand in our latest global flagship store.”  Kay believes that making an emotional connection with customers elevates the experience of shopping. “You can either sell stuff to customers or they can acquire pieces. Our form of transaction is that customers acquire a beautiful piece that they’ll love to wear and talk about.

Trenery’s new Autumn/Winter collection is currently available at the V&A Shopping Centre – on the upper level near Entrance 2. Visit the new store between 9am and 9pm each day.
