A spectacle of sound, taste, fashion, and fantasy, South Africa’s most whimzalicious food and music festival – The Luxurious Marble Circus – returns for its second edition, promising to be bigger, bolder, and more enchantifying than ever before.

Built on the magic of last year’s sold-out success, the 2025 edition leans into everything guests adored and turns it up three notches. Inspired by the radiant characters and fantastical fashion of last year’s guests, this year’s Circus has evolved into a magnificently immersive world with more razzle, dazzle, and decadence. From the moment guests arrive, they’re swept into a living, breathing playground of opulence and peculiarity — where luxury and mischievousity live side by side.

The Luxurious Marble Circus unfolds across 75 000 square metres of indulgence and imagination, welcoming 6 000 guests per day on 4 and 5 October at Ground The Venue in Muldersdrift. Despite the sheer scale of the landscape, it’s a festival built for intimacy — one where fine dining by the Marble Group, entertainment, theatrics, and sensational surprises exist in perfect harmony.

The 2025 line-up is nothing short of spectastical. From Oskido, DJ Zinhle, Mi Casa, and Maphorisa to Laura Zimmermann, Amy Wiles, and the Soweto Gospel Choir, the main stage has tripled in scale (a staggering 66 metres wide and over 20 metres high) and spectacle — with performances that crescendo into surprise “show moments” throughout the day and night. But beyond the stage lies a multitude of magical micro-adventures.

Gastronomes will revel in a feastival of flavours orchestrated by David Higgs and guest chefs in the Grand Dining Room (inspired by Marble and in collaboration with Moët & Chandon and Hennessy) and the Royal Lounge (inspired by Saint and in collaboration with Don Julio and Johnnie Walker). Guests in the Marble tents can expect an extraordinarious outdoor dining experience reminiscent of the world-class restaurants they have come to know and love, with decadent dishes ranging from mouthwatering canapes, dry-aged T-Bone, salmon, and delectable desserts. All while enjoying exclusive lounge entertainment and vivacious views of the main stage.

Playground in the Field (inspired by Pantry) offers an al-fresco food affair, with five new menu concepts added to the Tasting Station and a surprise BBC Food collaboration. Fancy But Easy favourites, such as scrumptious sushi, pizzas, Prego rolls, salads, and soft-serve, will be on offer for taste-bud-tantalisation. A full music lineup, including Matt Davies and Tim Lewis, Shekinah and KidFonque, promises to add even more flavour to this fabulous foray.

With sensational surprises tucked into every corner and a multitude of amazifying areas to explore, this zestiful festival promises a wonderland of delights. Festival-goers will relish in an all-new trampoline-powered stage — the La Vaulta Spectaculum — a never-before-seen platform of performance, mischief, and music that flips the very idea of a stage on its head (literally). Unveiled by 947, this bounciful beauty features Jozi-adored DJs and mid-air moments of marvel.

Title partner Investec presents the Wheel of Wonder — a spectacular Ferris wheel that elevates their ‘Out of the Ordinarious’ offering. Brand partners have also gone above and beyond this year to host imaginative and immersive experiences in and around the Playground. Johnnie Walker’s Afro Exchange and Moët’s Vista Veranda promise lavish sensoriums to sip on spirits, as does the new Tequila Temple from Don Julio, the Grand Vinarium courtesy of Vilanfonté and Creation Wines, and Minuty’s Rosé Rendezvous.

Savanna returns to the Fantastical Forest, Mercedes-Benz puts their chariots of wonder on display, Fabiani offers a glorious Café, Vuse adds a vapourwave of vibes in the Vapourium, and Heineken brings a Formula 1 fantasy-come-true to Jozi.

Another enchantifying new addition is the Emporium — a curated collector’s dream of Luxurious Marble Circus merchandise, fashion finds, and one-of-a-kind upcycled treasures as part of the event’s initiative to leave a legacy beyond luxury.

A high luxury, high fun experience, The Luxurious Marble Circus is a fusion of fashion, music, the arts, and dining in a way that hasn’t been done locally, or maybe even globally, before, pushing the envelope of what a festival can be. It takes high-end dining into nature, giving guests a taste of true Marble-level hospitality in a festival world. A world where circus, theatre, music festivals, and elevated dining all collide in one glorious explosion of experience. Brought to you by The Marble Group, Grid Worldwide, G&G — The Goosebumps Company, and Investec.
