YourLuxury Africa was proud to be a media partner for the Zeitz MOCAA Gala 2025, an evening dedicated to artistic excellence and cultural philanthropy. Hosted by Koyo Kouoh – the first African woman to curate the 61st Venice Biennale 2026 – at the iconic Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa. The gala brought together esteemed guests for a night of fine dining and also honoured Nigeria’s visual artist, Otobongo Nkanga, who received the Zeitz MOCAA Honorary Award for her incredible contribution to the arts.
The evening began with welcome drinks in the Zeitz MOCAA Atrium Foyer, setting the stage for an elegant celebration as guests enjoyed a beautifully curated dinner upstairs. The night concluded with live entertainment by South Africa’s Thandiswa Mazwai, who had everyone on their feet, making it a truly memorable night. The Zeitz team ended the art weekend with an after party co-hosted with Don Julio, with Lelowhatsgood playing a music set that merged gqom and old-school hits.
