As cycling enthusiasts watched the progress of the Tour de France towards the Champs-Elysées at the end of July, Tissot commemorated its role as official timekeeper with two new Tissot T-Race Cycling editions: Tour de France in yellow and Vuelta a Espana in red.
Tissot’s passion for sport matches its dedication to producing high-performance, top-quality watches in keeping with their status as official timekeepers for these cycling races as well as basketball and motorsports.
A glance at the 2023 edition of the Tissot T-Race Cycling watch immediately highlights synergies with the sport, from the pushers that reflect brake levers and hands that mimic spokes to the lugs that reference the lightness of racing bike frames. The race logos are engraved on the casebacks, and race colours are carried through in the second hand, crown and strap. A closer look at the asphalt dial will reveal the coloured second hand with an eye-catching bike shape.
The sporty look of the watch extends to the straps. Two quick-release options are the silicone version in the appropriate race colour and a leather strap reminiscent of the handlebar grips of Tour bikes. Swop them out to suit your look as quickly as you change gears. “Time is everything,” says three-time Vuelta a Espana winner, Olympic champion and Tissot ambassador Primož Roglič. “I try to be in the moment. I give absolutely everything to make the most of that moment.”
