As the countdown to the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 gathers momentum ahead of the February 6 opening ceremony, Omega marks the moment with a commemorative Speedmaster that unites sporting heritage, technical precision, and refined design.
Omega’s relationship with the Olympic Games began in 1932, and its winter chapter dates back to Garmisch-Partenkirchen in 1936. Over nine decades, the brand has continually advanced the science of sports timekeeping, becoming an essential partner to athletes at the highest level. At Milano Cortina 2026, Omega will time all 116 events across eight sports, including ski mountaineering, which will make its Games debut.
The Speedmaster Milano Cortina 2026 is presented in a fully polished 38 mm stainless-steel case, paired with a blue ceramic bezel featuring a white enamel tachymeter scale. Its white varnished dial is lightly frosted in pale blue, with a finger-traced motif inspired by the “26” emblem of the Games. Azurage-finished subdials evoke the texture of groomed ski slopes, while a blue-gradient central seconds hand and dark blue Milano Cortina typography at six o’clock provide subtle colour accents. The commemorative medallion on the caseback seals its Olympic connection. Power comes from the self-winding Co-Axial Calibre 3330, offering a 52-hour reserve, and the watch fastens with a stainless-steel bracelet with Omega’s comfort release system.
For the first time at a Winter Games, Omega will also introduce a dedicated Omega House. Set inside Carlo Cracco’s celebrated restaurant in Milan’s Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the winter edition of Omega House will welcome guests throughout the Games.
The ground floor café will become the “Omega Café by Cracco”, featuring Omega branding, while the first and second floors will become an Olympic Winter Games retreat where members can relax, dine, or watch coverage of the live sporting events. In the evening, Omega House will become a stage for various events and themed evenings. Blending Italian elegance with Olympic spirit, it will serve as a refined retreat for dining, conversation, and celebration – an expression of Omega’s enduring role at the heart of sport and culture.
