The award-winning London-based fine jeweller’s new personalised talismanic collection is designed around images and symbols such as a heart or the evil eye, hand engraved into the insides of beautiful settings visible through colourful windows of semi-precious gemstones. Alongside a diverse collection of ready-to-buy pieces, the new line provides extensive options for personalisation, allowing customers to tailor their jewellery to their unique preferences.
This includes choosing from a variety of colours, settings, and icons. Unearthing History
Time and place take on a different perspective in the hands of Ellis Mhairi Cameron, as evidenced by her latest collection, Legacy. Her evocative collection is born from artefacts unearthed on her family’s farm in Scotland, land they’ve owned since 1502. With the help of a local metal detector, she embarked on a voyage of rediscovery, revealing dormant pieces of history from centuries past scattered across the fields. Among the treasures uncovered were fragments of a brooch, a locket, and a Cameron clan pin etched with a Gaelic inscription meaning “we come bearing weapons”. Ellis’s craftsmanship transforms these finds with soft yellow baguette diamonds meticulously reverse-set to dance with light and icy white diamonds artfully scattered like secrets waiting to be revealed.
The fluidity of molten gold underscores each piece, embodying Ellis’s distinctive erosive style. “Legacy showcases antique cuts and baguettes set upside down and nestled within molten, textured gold. What truly fascinates me about these unearthed objects is the passage of time.
