Exquisite Watch and Jewellery Gifts for Valentine’s Day

From Rado’s tribute to romance and Blancpain’s elegant Ladybird to Cartier’s bold Trinity designs and Chopard’s dancing diamonds, these beautiful pieces make unforgettable gifts.

Rado True Round Open Heart

Rado’s 2025 Valentine’s Day campaign beautifully intertwines the centuries of romance associated with roses, their unfurling linked to the metaphor for the path of true love. They cleverly connect this to the passing of time, comparing the elaborate arrangement of petals to the intricacy of the automatic watch movement exposed on the dial and their softness to the feel of high-tech ceramic against the skin. The Rado True Round Open Heart, a masterpiece of craftsmanship, suggests it is time for romance, available in black or white because, as they say, opposites attract.

Blancpain Ladybird Colors Saint-Valentin 2025

Did you know Betty Fiechter was the first woman to lead a watch maison – Blancpain – in the 1930s? Her vision earned the manufacture’s jewellery watches international renown. The Ladybird collection has celebrated several watchmaking milestones, including producing the first self-winding ladies’ wristwatch in 1930 and the smallest mechanical movement several decades ago. The Ladybird Colors Saint-Valentin 2025 continues the tradition of celebrating lovers worldwide with a feminine-featured moon phase and dainty golden hearts on the mother-of-pearl dial. Notice the closed eyes framed by long eyelashes, full lips and a beauty spot in the corner of her mouth. This 34.9mm 18k white gold version is limited to 14 pieces.

Chopard Happy Hearts and L’Heure du Diamant

Chopard Happy Hearts combination of stones, in some cases, for the jewellery with dancing diamonds in pendants and bangles carries the concept over to watches in the Happy Sport line. The resulting Happy Hearts watch perfectly captures Chopard’s interpretation of the talisman for the free-spirited women. Diamonds glide and twirl over the dial in a mesmerising ballet that provides endless entertainment for the wearer. Crafted in Lucent Steel and ethical rose gold, the 36mm diameter timepiece is enlivened by three iconic happy diamonds, a mother-of-pearl heart and a diamond-set heart. Diamonds take centre stage in Chopard’s L’Heure du Diamant jewellery collection, with white gold and diamond heart earrings and pendants showcasing the craftsmanship of its artisans.

Chopard Mille Miglia Classic Chronograph

For men whose hearts race at the sound of an engine, there’s the new Mille Miglia Classic Chronograph. This latest model by Chopard features a 40.5mm case crafted from the brand’s exclusive Lucent Steel, paired with a highly legible dial in automotive-inspired hues and a “glass box” crystal that enhances its vintage appeal. The inspiration behind this watch is the spirit of Italy’s legendary 1000 Miglia race – marked by camaraderie, energy, speed, and style. Chopard continues celebrating this legendary event through its timepieces, and the Mille Miglia Classic Chronograph is a perfect representation of this.

Cartier Trinity Collection

Additions to Cartier’s Trinity collection reference emblematic animals from its menagerie – the panther, tiger and snake. The reptile’s scales have been worked into the white gold ring band, while panther spots or tiger stripes in black lacquer decorate the yellow and rose gold versions. The black lacquer motifs are applied by hand, while the all-paved versions use a particular technique that requires edging the rose gold and yellow gold rings with a “thousand lines” finish in a series of small hand-chiselled cuts. The Maison extends its creative approach to the band shapes – rippled for the snake, pyramidal for the tiger and rounded for the panther. The collection includes a two-finger ring and a single earring.

Frederique Constant Highlife Collection

Frederique Constant expands its flagship Highlife collection with a new range of ladies’ quartz models, featuring five references. Powered by a quartz movement with a five-year battery life, these timepieces come in a refined 31mm case. Options include a mother-of-pearl dial and four sunray-finished versions in stainless steel or steel with gold plating, with diamond-set indices on select models. Each watch has a matching stainless steel and gold-plated bracelet and a rubber strap.

Meanwhile, the brand reinterprets its signature Heart Beat design with the Highlife Heart Beat Automatic. This modern update showcases the distinctive aperture at 12 o’clock, now seamlessly integrated into the globe-patterned dial. Equipped with the automatic FC-310 calibre, the watch offers a 38-hour power reserve.

Patrick Mavros Elephant Hair Jewellery

New to Patrick Mavros’ men’s jewellery collection is the 18ct yellow gold Elephant Hair Gentlemen’s Bangle. Handcrafted in Africa, each strand is individually soldered and woven into the recognisable pattern of the traditional Elephant Hair Bangle, which is said to capture the strength and wisdom of the elephant. The 18ct yellow gold Elephant Hair Cufflinks are made in the same fashion.

Why not celebrate love with a token of your affection? A sleek timepiece or an elegant piece of jewellery holds memories of special times and glorious occasions and can be passed down through generations.
