Stretching out over the bay like a timeless village and seemingly sculpted by the wind, the Hotel Cala di Volpe embodies a glamourous elegance immersed between the colours and scents of nature and sea. It’s natural beauty is set to be heightened during the Dolce&Gabbana take over.
The Luxury Collection Hotel in Sardinia, has been selected as one of the exclusive locations for Dolce&Gabbana’s latest creative partnerships, the ‘DG Resort’. This exciting project will bring the unmistakable flair of the iconic Italian brand to the hotel.
Dolce&Gabbana will transform the entire pool area of Hotel Cala di Volpe, which boasts one of the largest saltwater pools in Europe. Guests will be welcomed into a unique atmosphere where every detail, from soft cotton beach towels to hand–painted vases and vibrant upholstery, is infused with Dolce&Gabbana’s distinctive style.
The Carretto Siciliano fantasy, a design rooted in Italy’s rich artistic and cultural heritage, will be prominently featured, showcasing the bold colour contrasts typical of this traditional Sicilian art form. A masterpiece of elegance started in the 60’s by by French architect Jacques Couëlle, and now marvelously reinterpreted with rooms and suites, new spaces and restaurants, that offer an uplifted experience, the hotel will further transform. The Dolce and Gabbana influence will pay homage to the values of Fatto a Mano (The Handmade) and celebrates the excellence of Italian craftsmanship.
Situated along the picturesque Costa Smeralda, Hotel Cala di Volpe has long been a symbol of luxury tourism, seamlessly integrating with the social fabric and natural beauty of the Gallura coastline in northeastern Sardinia. The hotel was inspired by an old fishing village and recently underwent a skillful restyling by architects Bruno Moinard and Claire Bétaille. This summer the Dolce&Gabbana take–over will further cement Hotel Cala di Volpe’s reputation as a five–star legend and a luxury lifestyle authority in the Mediterranean.
