YourLuxury Africa Named Official Media Partner for Lux Afrique Polo Day 2025

The pan-African luxury lifestyle platform partners with Europe’s premier African polo event, returning to Surrey’s Hurtwood Park Polo Club on 26 July 2025.

Lux Afrique Polo has announced YourLuxury Africa as the official media partner for the eagerly awaited Lux Afrique Polo Day 2025, returning on Saturday, 26 July 2025, to the illustrious Hurtwood Park Polo Club in Surrey. Renowned as Europe’s foremost celebration of African polo and luxury lifestyle, the event promises a dazzling fusion of sport, culture, and contemporary African sophistication.

Now in its seventh year, Lux Afrique Polo Day — affectionately known as the Black Ascot — continues to redefine luxury through an African lens. The collaboration with YourLuxury Africa, a leading pan-African luxury lifestyle platform, underscores the event’s commitment to highlighting the continent’s cultural dynamism, global impact, and fearless creativity.

“We are thrilled to partner with YourLuxury Africa, a platform that embodies the spirit of African luxury and excellence that we champion at Lux Afrique Polo Day,” says Alexander Amosu, founder of Lux Afrique. “Together, we will illuminate the vibrancy, confidence and innovation that define Africa today.”

This partnership will elevate the event’s storytelling through exclusive editorial coverage, digital features and behind-the-scenes access to the glamour and excitement of the day.

This Year’s Theme: African Boldness

The 2025 edition celebrates “African Boldness” — a tribute to the audacious creativity, unapologetic style, and unwavering confidence of modern Africans across the globe. Guests are invited to embrace bold prints while adhering to the Polo Chic & Sartorial Elegance dress code, with a strict policy ensuring the event’s refined ambience.

Unmissable Highlights

The day will unfold as an immersive luxury experience, featuring:

  • Elite Polo Matches: Four international teams will compete in high adrenaline matches against the breathtaking Surrey countryside.
  • Supercar Showcase: A curated exhibition of iconic supercars — from Ferraris to Lamborghinis — blending speed with sophistication.
  • Gourmet African Cuisine: Four acclaimed chefs, including a MasterChef: The Professionals semi-finalist, will present a modern twist on African gastronomy.
  • Fashion and Entertainment: Exclusive designer collections and live performances by artists such as Seyi Shay and Camden Stewart will create a spectacle of glamour and artistry.

Philanthropy Spotlight: Chess for a Cause

This year’s charitable focus is “Chess in Slums Africa”, an inspiring initiative that empowers underprivileged youth through strategic education. Under the Bronze Tent, guests can purchase a bespoke chess board for £500 and challenge an opponent, with the chance to win back their donation. All proceeds support the organisation’s mission to transform lives through learning.
