Chanel Unveils Allure Homme Sport Superleggera

The limited-edition men’s fragrance adds an energetic burst to any scent collection, blending refreshing citrus, invigorating musk, and woody amber for a captivating aroma

Chanel launched Allure Homme in 1998. Created by Jacques Polge, this amber woody fragrance for men has undergone a few iterations over the years, although the original remains a steadfast favourite among its fans. Allure Homme is characterised by fresh top notes of lemon, peach, ginger, mandarin orange, lavender and bergamot; a touch of floral and spice in the middle thanks to pepper, cedar, patchouli, vetiver, Brazilian rosewood, rose, jasmine, gardenia, freesia and anise; and warm base notes of vanilla, Tonka bean, sandalwood, coconut, amber, musk, leather and oakmoss.

Now Chanel gives the iconic seductive scent a new twist in the limited-edition Allure Homme Sport Superleggera, a fragrance designed to capture motion and action. This is for the man who is drawn to sports, especially the exhilaration of sailing, as well as those who are adventurous and thrive on the thrill of physical activity. This man is exuberant, loves travelling and welcomes life with enthusiasm. He is sophisticated and searching for an alluring aroma that makes an impact.

How is this portrayed in a scent you may ask? It is all about contradictions and opposites – intensity and lightness, the soil and the heavens. Imagine a refreshing breeze touched with woody amber accents, combined with a citrus aura of sparkling fruity grapefruit and intense musk notes – an invigorating cocktail.

The trail is like a sensual whirlwind coming off the soil and the ocean. Inspired by the visual codes of sport, the clear smoked glass bottle has a black rubberised lid set with a metal ring, and Superleggera, the symbolic signature embossed in red on the bottle is an emblem of performance.
