KARL IKONIK pour femme: a dazzling, sensual gourmand floral
Raspberry and rose take flight in a burst of freshness. A white bouquet of jasmine sambac and tuberose then spreads its soft luminosity, revealing the delicious delicacy of hazelnut macaron. Smooth, creamy sandalwood, combined with Haitian vetiver, warms the ensemble, imprinting the skin with a subtle sensuality.
“I wanted to create a fragrance that reinterprets jasmine, tinged with the rose-gold nuances of geranium, with opulent, modern reflections. At the base, the roundness of creamy sandalwood blends perfectly with soft jasmine petals,” says perfumer Marie Salamagne.
KARL IKONIK pour homme: an original intense ambery fougère
Tonka bean, the composition’s key ingredient, is explored here in its entirety, revealing a salty facet with gourmand accents. The depth of coconut wood “holds the note” without faltering, softened by sandalwood cream. Fresh top notes of sage essence, fresh Madagascan ginger, mandarin leaf, and orange blossom absolute give this reimagined fougère a long-lasting sillage.
“We created this eau de parfum because we wanted to explore tonka bean from top to bottom and create an innovative, signature masculine note. We’ve done this through crisp combinations that convey a certain confidence and great intensity,” explains perfumers Emilie Coppermann and Pierre Guéros.
